Hello All,
We are a online bookstore and are in the process of rebranding.
So we are looking to redesigning our current logo.
Current Logo:

Problems with the Logo:
There are too many colors in the logo text 'The reading corner'
We would like the worm to look much more pleasant - he could still have the read book & glasses
We sell books from 2-16yrs - we would like to logo to look slight mature - that may suggest will sell older kids' books
Preferences:
We still like the color green for the worm but a less aggressive green, more like a matte/pastel green...or same green but softer
The Slogan "motivating young readers" we would like to keep but find an appropriate placement for it.

We have included a few reference images along with some hand drawn concepts
Designer's Intuition:
We are very open and keen to creative ideas and concepts. Please feel free to design something "outside the box"

thanks @yogeshbadgire for pointing this out. Whilst there are several "free" images or license to purchase, the client is actually looking for fresh ideas and concept. This is the main reason why we turn to you guys. Please bear this in mind when creating....Cheers all!
