This is an amazing opportunity to join a contest to be selected as the primary designer for a new audiobook channel specialising in children's stories distributed via video, app and third party.

Brief:
Title illustrations for children’s audio books

Age:
6 – 8 years

Resolution:
Suitable for high resolution printing.

Styles:
Open to hand drawn illustrations, digitally designed images or alternative styles.

Number:
10 in total. 3 illustrations to determine the winner with the remaining 7 designs to be completed when the winning entry is awarded – please not that this is ten designs in total for the competition prizemoney.

Ongoing:
This is an ongoing audiobook channel that is likely to require ongoing illustrations to be created. This contest is designed to help us identify our preferred design partner.

The attached brief contains the story ideas, feel free to choose any but Surfing on a Cloud must be one of the designs. The others can be chosen from the list provided such as Fruit Salad Feeling, Rainbow in My Room, The Great Grand Prix Car Ride.

Please see the attached brief and be familiar prior to entry as this is a condition of being part of the contest.

If they have shown a character, then the best character expression is serene, content and free with a happy undertone - not too excited as this is about getting kids to sleep!

The entries we have loved have been fairly clean and used the colour palette from the chakras - red, orange, yellow, green, blue violet, indigo and softened them for a child like feel - lots of gradients, muted versions of the colour palette etc.

  Hi Javier - thanks for your interest in the contest. I have attached some illustrations for the style. For digital art we love things like the app sago mini snow day. Or some of the owl style illustrations that are trending - but we are very much open to individual expression.
