We need to design a lunch parcel box for our Garden Restaurant. Size of the box is 8x8x3 inches. I am attaching a sample box to show the kind of box I am talking about. The objective is to design this box to project excellent quality, uniqueness, and standard of Article 19 and to engage the mind.

A few things that we were thinking the box should reflect -

1. Meaning of Article 19 name (Article 19 philosophy) ( See http://a19.in/index.php/about-us )
2. Calorie count label
3. How it is different - healthy food, freshly picked veggies from our own garden,
4. Some puzzle, crossword, sudoku etc.
5. List of facilities that are available at the restaurant - adult and children play area, lawn, vegetable farm, petting zoo, tree house for romantic lunch/dinner, family and women friendly,
6. Convenient for corporate, and family events such as birthday, kitty, and office parties.
7. We already have a logo. You can change the color on the logo.(See logo on a19.in )

The box design should be high quality in terms of thought and design. It must look professional.

Please remember. This is a lunch parcel box, so color combination should be appropriate for food.

Design will be given to the printer. If you have a printer who can deliver the finished box as well, we will consider that. But we will need complete source of the image files.

    #6 , #7 Rameez, the design should reflect that it is a lunch box (and not a parcel box for snacks). So the images on the box should be selected accordingly. Samosa ets are not appropriate here.

      The message "Thank you. Visit again" is not appropriate for this box. Also, there is a lot of white empty space all over that is making the design a bit bland and less exciting. Try to incorporate ideas of this restaurant offers through abstract means instead of pure text.

    1. Need some background color or theme instead of plain white all over.
    2. This is a lunch box, so food image on the front should be accordingly.
    3. Need more visual clues on the sides instead of verbose text.

    1. Would like to see the concept of Article 19 described or illustrated or reflected through writing or images on one side.

    2. Height of the box should be 3 inches. Your puzzle and calorie label area seem to be taking a lot more space in proportion to the length and breadth (8inches).

      height is 3inches, length and breadth are 8inches each.
      I am not sure what is Tag height tuck etc are but I think if you have the basic design then once we take it to the printer, they can make minor adustments.
      We will need source of your image preferrably coreldraw file.

    1. No non-veg photos on the design. Paneer tikka is fine. Chicken tikka is not.
    2. Description of Article 19 is only for you to understand what it is about. It need not necessarily go as it is on the box. The message should be put succinctly on the box either through a statement or some design element.

    About the name Article 19 -
    What is Article 19?

    Article 19, or to be precise, Article 19 (1) (a), is an article in Constitution of India that makes Freedom of Speech and Expression a fundamental right for the citizens of India. Freedom of Speech and Expression is the life blood of democracy and our place is dedicated to this article.

    The purpose of naming our restaurant Article 19 is to raise awareness about this right.
