Requested are Logo design ideas for a brand called "Onemana Bay Studios", a small enterprise focusing on Smartphone/Tablet App development. A simple, clean look is preferred but surprises welcome. So whether it is just a logo with the text or whether there is also a stylistic art involved (e.g. outline of a oceanfront bay or pirate ship) is up to the deisgner. The primary purpose of this Logo is to be used as a startup screen before the main App starts, similiar to how a film production company (New line cinema, Marvel studios, etc.) Logos are shown before the movie starts, The Logo should be scaleable so that also a small version (e.g. viewed on a small smartphone in the Google play store) is readable and recognized as a unique brand,

    Thanks again for your suggestions. Apparently people seem to believe that sail boats or light houses are a must. This is a misconception. It is more about offering a clean look that will also look good when shrinking down the logo (think: icon size in google play store). Too complicated logo pictures will not nicely survive such a shrinking of a logo. So any pic/icon that has a clear own "identity" - no matter whether it is a sailboat, a light house, a palm tree, an animal, a landscape, a coconut, etc.etc what you can think of -will be interesting.

    comments: - this is not a film company, so any logo with hinting at film or photography is irrelevant. - while looking at the entries, it became apparent that a simple text logo does not cut it; the logo idea has to incorporate some kind of iconic picture/drawing/structure that makes it stand out also to have the ability to use the logo appearance as a clear cut recognition signal.
