Looking for an artist who can provide a great result without strict requirements. As described in the title, we will be looking for two SVG animations to use during the process in our website. Going forward, these animations will be referred to as:

1. "Verifying"
2. "Verified!"

Our site allows you to create short URLs. However, we verify each URL against Google Safe Browsing before generating the URL. Today, this happens in the background.

In the future, when a user enters a new URL, a DARK overlay will cover the screen and "Verifying" will play on a loop until the URL has been confirmed through Google Safe Browsing. At that time, "Verified!" will play a single time, after which the user will be taken to the page displaying the Short URL. This process is described for context only. Our web developer will handle the programming of these events--you are asked to provide the animations in SVG format.

Here are the loose requirements for each Animation. We are purposely leaving these vague to allow freedom for the artist's interpretation. We encourage any best practices or tricks to make the animations appear smooth, professional and impressive.

"Verifying" - This animation will play on a short LOOP until the site verifies the link to communicate to the user that the site is verifying the link through google safe browing. We wish to incorporate the Google Safe Search branding including the icon. Please see attached safebrowsing-logo.svg and Google Safe Browsing.png that are attached for ideas/assets to create your work.

"Verified!" - This animation will play ONE TIME when the site has successfully verified the link. It should transition nicely from "Verifying" looking smooth and professional. How you communicate this to the user is up to your interpretation--a checkmark, etc... whatever you feel looks and feels the best.

Additional requirements:

- These animations should incorporate transparency and look great on a dark background.
- The animations must be EASILY RE-SIZABLE by an experience web developer
- The deliverable will be two svg files, one for "Verifying" and one for "Verified!" that incorporate the code that makes the animation.
- NO ACTUAL IMAGES. PROPOSING OR SUBMITTING ACTUAL IMAGES (.GIF, ETC) WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION

Thanks for the stars but then rejecting entry (that I cannot see and on which I cannot ask for more clarification anymore). Several entries have posted links to working SVG so contest solution that is against the Freelancer ToS and also this contest description ("NO ACTUAL IMAGES. PROPOSING OR SUBMITTING ACTUAL IMAGES (.GIF, ETC) WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION").

These days it's easy to create a screencasted video - QuickTime player includes that option for free on every Mac. Only the contest winner should submit final SVG in private communication exchange and WITHOUT using javascript (GreenSock, svg.js, snapsvg etc) unless it is allowed - please modify contest description. Simple and looped animations can be done using SVG only.

The interest & responses have been a bit lower than expected. If you have any suggestions on how to reformat the request, we are open to hearing. I think most sites would just ask for a .gif file. We want svg due to it's compact nature and ability to implement across platforms easily.

Do you want a very detailed animation? or prefer something that is more "icon"

  I would say more toward the "icon" idea... we want the user to understand the process occurring during validation of the link, but something kind of "snazzy" looking that won't require loading a gif-based image off of the server every time.
