PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

TL;DR
Need a better, serious, and more professional version of the attached concept art done as a vector with colors. I really like the zen line art style from www.heroku.com so that would be ideal but I'm open to other styles. Art needs to be high quality. This is for a business, not deviantart.

SUMMARY:
Need a professional quality version of the concept art done in Adobe Illustrator CC preferably, other versions or Inkscape acceptable. (Please NO PHOTOSHOP! Needs to be vector art.) Please see attached file for a rough idea of what I'm looking for. It's a sort of mascot for a venture I'm developing: a happy little guru meditating on a floating email. Curly-ish beard, shiny bald head, hands in ohm/meditating, legs in lotus position, long robe, etc. Also please be creative! I'm open to slight changes to the guidelines here and deviations from the concept art. Min requirements, needs to be a happy bearded guru on a floating email.

COLOR GUIDELINES:
Colors should ideally be kept modestly desaturated, light, and on the cooler side. Again, open to *slight* deviations here. Shouldn't be too cartoonish. Must needs fit well with the rest of the homepage the art will go on. Design of this page will be minimal-style with very light cool desaturated colors. Sky blues, sunset pinks and purples, etc. Primary color for the brand and website will be something close to hsl(242, 80%, 85%). Basically, colors should not be overly vibrant or saturated. Fill colors should be on the lighter side. Overall colors should be cool. Warm colors should be sunset-ish. Earthy tones should be avoided. Again though, feel free to deviate slightly from these guidelines if you think it will work with the overall feel.

ART STYLE GUIDELINES:
Should not be too cartoonish. Art style should be on the cerebral side. Looking for something professional and serious, but not _too_ serious, if that makes sense. Still needs to be happy and slightly casual. Want customers to feel we take our product seriously but are still friendly and casual. Thinking I would prefer something closer to the art style of https://www.heroku.com/. Definitely NOT something like https://madmimi.com/. Lines a bit thinner, semi-geometrical, etc.

BRAND DESCRIPTION AND CONTEXT:
This will be going right on the front of my venture's homepage. The venture is called Mailvana (mashup of Mail and Nirvana) and provides email address validation, transactional email, and email marketing campaigns for apps and websites. It is primarily marketed towards developers of web apps and mobile apps, but also towards businesses in general. Also want to market Mailvana as the smartest, most secure, fastest, most accurate and easiest-to-use Email Service Provider for apps. We want to offer a vastly better user experience than the competitors. It's the Nirvana of email providers for apps. (Hence the name). (Nirvana as in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nirvana -- not the band)

FINAL THOUGHTS:
The above guidelines are just that -- guidelines. My hope is to give you a sense of the context webpage where this art will be going and the feel I'm trying to invoke overall. Please carefully read and consider the guidelines before beginning, but don't feel obligated to adhere to them too too strictly. When in doubt, feel free to submit several versions! I will also try to be available for quick responses to questions. Also don't forget to check out the attached concept art! In my opinion that concept is close to the whimsical end of the serious-vs-whimsical scale I'm envisioning, if that helps. I don't want to use anything much more cartoonish or whimsical than that concept.

      Hey Amandeep, there are a couple of submissions I quite like right now but I plan to keep the contest open for the full 7 days. At this point however it might be better to submit a rough draft so that if it's a style I don't like you won't be wasting much time. If I _do_ end up really liking where it's going I will comment and let you know.
