     So, if I understand correctly, this area will change depending on the user's location? In other words this area must be reserved for text or a graphic element of some sort that will denote location?

     Yes, that is correct. The only thing that needs to be variable, though, is room for the City Name. The other elements can be abstract in the sense that they would work for all locations. Cityscapes don't work as I don't want to have to create a whole new banner for each location.

  Clarification !! Would you like just the Banner design changed in the sense color and graphic to be added or any text or Graph addition to promote rewards. Please clarify. Thanks.

     The banner area needs to denote some location so i am looking for something creative there. Please avoid using cityscapes as we need to make the banner generic enough to be able to substitute in different city names, but the graphical elements need to be generic enough so it still works with a city substitution. Be creative with this. Perhaps something more abstract in there. Leave the right side of the banner for the SIgn In | Sign Up links.

     The masthead in the JPG was just a placeholder. We are looking for something new and original by way of a logo and entire banner graphic. It was only intended to give designers a sense of space and layout. We are not looking for just a new font.
