Design a front (and colors for back) cover for a book called CISO COMPASS: Navigating Cybersecurity Leadership Challenges with Insights from Pioneers. Evision a compass, with 7 points highlightlighting Strategy, structure, shared values, systems, style, skills, staff. Book contains insights from over 75 Chief Information Security Officers and Leaders. Want a snappy, every catching cover. Foreward by Dr. Larry Ponemon, the Author should state Todd Fitzgerald as the Author.

NOTE UPDATE 05 SEP 2018... Replaced the backcover text with Version 5.0 based upon your feedback (too much text). Please incorporate the cover into the design.

PLEASE NOTE, the full title is CISO COMPASS: Navigating Cybersecurity Leadership Challenges with Insights from Pioneers.

I will be sending out a poll to my peers asking for feedback on Friday, 9/6/18 AT 2PM GMT of the submissions received so far -- please have your best submission in by that time.

9/11/18 -- The Publisher layout and file type requirements have just been received from the publisher. The back cover text will be reduced and file posted by EOD 9/11/18.
The publisher also states:

Format: The cover art can be provided as: .indd, ai, jpg, tif, psd or pdf.

Resolution: The artwork should be at least 300 ppi at the final reproduction size.

Trim size: 6.125” x 9.25” hardcover

Bleed: .625”

Front Cover: Logo: Please keep in mind we will need to include the CRC/Auerbach logo on the front. I have attached in various formats. We can also add it in here when we work if the full cover proof

I have started rejecting entries as we come near to the end of the contest that were either a) too clip artish, b) used the 'lock' - overdone in the security space, c) too flat and boring, d) did not incorporate the Author, Forward by, subtitle (Navigating...), e) and didn't have a callout to 'Over 75 Chief Information Security Officers and Leaders Contributing' or 'Over 75 leading contributors'

Posted a new version for the book back cover -- based upon feedback, reduced the description text by 50 words. Back cover needs to support description text, quotes, and Author Bio. Also shortened Author Bio. The file is Version 8.

  Interesting cover... but, the subtitle (Navigating Cybersecurity Leadership Challenges with Insights from Pioneers) is not represented on the cover -- nor is the compass idea of the 7S (in the abstract). I like the lock graphic and cleanness of the image.

The author is Todd Fitzgerald, the Forward is by Dr. Larry Ponemon (both should be represented on the cover). Updated the back cover (8/30/18 V4), as I received the 2nd quote I was waiting for. Would like to see the spine image as well (front, back, and spine).
