Need a detailed outline written for a "hardboiled" detective novel. Details are in the included Word document. This story is placed in a "Zootopia" type of world, where instead of humans we have dogs and cats in human form, complete with fur. No other animals are in human form. Overall, the tone is dark, dreary and sinister, not campy or playful. I do not have a complete list of characters (you are open to add more), the backstory is not complete, and any twists or plot deviations have not been fully explored. I am looking for a pretty detailed framework that I will flesh out with character dialogue and specific action. Hopefully, this will become a series.

      I ended up getting this a little too late-I was on the road and they closed the contest on me. I am going to be doing the same type of contest for several other books-would you be interested in participating? I would love the help! ANd to answer the question, I don't really have a need for specific dialogue, although if you think something needs to be said in aparticular way by all means include it! I want this to be a 'Cliff Notes' style of outline, and I will flesh out the details and the specific dialogue. edman.

    Hi Guys! Want to clarify a couple of points-as far as the outline, I am looking chapters, a few sentences describing the chapter i.e. Chapter six The long Road Home Rex drinks too much and ends up in a strange city. he meets several tough guys, and they actually give some information pertaining to his case. He calls in a old favor from a friend, and on his way home he realizes that things are much worse than he thought. Second, this is a somewhat dark story, so he wont be saving the world, and things won't miraculously get better. Inf act, although he solves the case, he uncovers some things that he would rather not know. He probably does not find his way to any sort of redemption.
