I’d like an image of a woman working out at home, following a video. This is a very specific image which would be quicker to have someone photoshop together with the necessary components than actually stage and photograph!

Here’s the complete breakdown:

- The woman working out is in the attached image 3U0A0296.jpg (she’s the one wearing yellow)
- Instead of being in my gym, I’d like her cut out and put into a room (any stock photo will do) facing a wall-mounted TV
- The room should be bright and minimalist, so bare minimum furniture (if any other than the TV), white walls (bricked or not, your choice), well lit, etc.
- The attached image “video screengrab.jpg” should be on the TV screen (feel free to brighten and sharpen and whatever you think is necessary, it’s a direct screengrab from a video mid-movement, so isn’t “photo-sharp”!)

That’s it for the actual image! Here’s some specifics:

- The image should be 2204 x 823 pixels
- She should be not quite centre, but slightly to the right, with everything that’s going on in the image mostly in the right half (see positioning.jpg for roughly where she’ll be in the image)
- The left half doesn’t need to be blank, but should be minimal as there will be writing on top of it (this will be a cover image for a web page)
- It should be completely white by time it gets to the left and right edges of the image

These are getting much better. Use the details I posted earlier as a tick sheet. There are some fantastic pieces of photoshop work here, but some I simply can't use because they don't tick off all those points.

The biggest one I'm seeing right now is that some images don't blend into a completely white background in the left and right edges. If it doesn't do that, I can't use it.

But, again, some fantastic pieces of work being posted here, thank you!

  Off the top of my head:
  
  - Wrong aspect ratio
  - Doesn't blend into white at the left and right edges
  - Woman is dead-centre, not positioned slightly to the right as per guide image
  - TV is flat against the wall, but she's looking off to the right (not looking at TV)
  - She's not cropped as tightly as reference image I provided
  
  They're the main points right now. All of those are detailed in the post I did yesterday if you'd like to use that for reference.

A quick summary of feedback from the entries I've seen today:

- Pay attention to the image resolution specified in the job description. If the entry isn't that aspect ratio, it's immediately out.

- Don't be afraid to be even more minimalist and subtle with the background. The focal points are the TV and the lady working out. The background is exactly that: background, and can be even lighter and more subtle in most cases.

- This image needs to be able to blend into white seamlessly at both the left and right sides. Whether you use pure white walls, subtly gradiented walls, or some kind of fade I leave up to you.

- Pay attention also to the 'positioning' image I supplied. That's how tightly the woman should be cropped and how much of the image she should take up.

I've seen some really good entries today along the right lines, which I'm very impressed with so early in the contest! Just a few tweaks to tick all of the above boxes will really help to make them stand out!
