I need a creative graphics solution to a complicated data analysis. Here are the parameters:
1. There are cumulative investments in marketing activities over a period of three years - some of the investments are general in nature and some are client specific. So think of presenting a business solution to the entire food industry at an industry conference and then following up with a specific presentation totally tailored to a specific client at their office location. Over a period of three years (2016-2018) there have been approximately 50 marketing activities as described above.
2. These marketing presentations culminate in potential clients issuing a request for information, request for proposal, etc - which we call RFXs - essentially a variety of requests for detailed information and a proposal for what the service/product would cost them. Over that same period of time, imagine 15-20 such "opportunities" created by marketing activities identified in 1. above.
I am looking for a creative solution that does not involve line charts, bar charts or any other type of typical graphic. The one-page presentation slide must convey the following three points:
1. Marketing investment is an activity that accrues opportunities over an extended period of time and has a compounding effect in generating business RFXs. Marketing investments to sell premium, long-business purchase cycle items take time and cannot be restricted (generally) to connecting one marketing event to one RFX
2. General industry marketing events build on brand and core product/service capabilities, but client specific events are exponential in leveraging specific client-based opportunities - meaning a client specific event is way more impactful than a general event - but that they are both necessary and synergistic to attain reach and frequency that grows the business.
3. The right tools at the right time do yield correlative results.
