Simple Logo Creation

I'm working with an entity called "One Man Band" (stylized as "1MB") that needs a logo. I like how the vertical lines in "1MB" are roughly symmetrical (see attached images) and would like to explore that concept.

Additionally, this is a music group, so incorporation if music elements (e.g. notes, bar lines, clefs) is encouraged.

Once the logo is complete, I'll create a follow-on contest to animate it. In that case, I'm imagining a sequence where the vertical lines of the logo "fall" and "glow" into place.

These are just my initial thoughts... please be creative!
