I am looking for a talented ...take advange of the "W" and "M". It might be clever to stagger the firm name as such: Walter Mathews, PA (perhaps small caps for the P.A. so it is not so dominate). For the logo, I have attached a file of a lion on a shield. I'd like to use the lion as a logo as it is a family shield. Some ideas: (1) use it as is; (2) simplify it; (3) as a pencil rubbing; or (4) generate the lion logo asa "hedcut" that is largely out of dots and hatached lines (similar to those used in the Wall Street Journal). The total concept is to have the logo on the left with the firm name to the right of it. I'll require files that are scaleable and able to be used on website, stationary and outlook signature. Take my portrait photo (the one in colour) and convert it into a "hedcut" stipple drawing that is made entirely of dots, similiar to the example (the one in black-and-white) and to those that appear in the Wall Street Journal. Note how dots are arranged in lines. Also note that there is no background in the drawing.

I'm co-authoring an upcoming (winter) business book that features approx 50 interviews with various business leaders. I would like to contract with a sketch artist to take 50 or so photograph (heads...take 50 or so photograph (headshots) and return small caricature or pencil sketches (black + white) for each photo. These would be small (2"x2") in final print form and delivered in digital format - either by scanning hand drawings or completely rendered digitally. The key is to make it professional looking (not cartoonish) as it's a business book. I like the Wall Street Journal (Stipple or Hedcut) look and if a graphic artist can take a digital photo and transform this into that look --- I'm open for that.
