I am looking for a translator and subtitler to help with an Indian-Australian short film, currently in post-production. This project involves approximately 5 hours of film dialogue which needs to be translated from Hindi into an accurate and time-stamped English transcript, to be used by the English-speaking editing team. For the translation, it is essential that the original tone and meaning of the dialogue is preserved, whilst being presented in a way that makes sense for an English-speaking audience. As all the Hindi dialogue is spoken by Delhi locals, an Indian translator from Delhi would be ideal for this project, in preserving any specific linguistic or cultural nuances spoken by the characters.
