CREATE DABASE AND REPORTS

Create a database (My SQL for example) based on multiple tables: the goal is to monitor the performances of hotels in Tripadvisor in different cities in the world, and generate very impactful reports. The SQL database should be placed on an existing cloud server (AZURE MICORSOFT). This particular project is the starting point. There will be additional developments and creations of additional tables. Create a table called “HotelInfo” This table is made of imported excel files, which are subsequent extractions from Tripadvisor for a particular city on a particular day (example : London Hotels on 2 Oct 2016 => [login to view URL]). Import several data files in this table : on a regular basis, updated extractions will be generated and should be imported in this table. Generate a report (xls) of all hotels ranked by position in Tripadvisor, calculate evolution in ranking between two pre-set dates (see model RANKING) of all hotels in a city, or of a certain category of hotels (Luxury, mid-range …) or of of a certain group of competing hotels Generate the same reports but ranked by best evolution Optimize the design of all reports : it should be very attractive Create a table of readers of these reports. The table will define who receives which reports, when… Send automatically these reports to an emailing list. The report should be downloadable through a link. It should be possible to check when the report has been downloaded and by whom.
