Introduction
The successful global management of human resources can be divided into two different
components of global human resource management. The first component signifies the action and
body of knowledge that MNCs use in dispersing, allocating, motivating and developing their
international workforce. The key concern of human resource management tends to an emphasis on
payment schemes, repatriation, and expatriate assignment. The concerns for local and third
country nationals are reflected in certain issues regarding the management of international
operations, for instance, who is going to run the several geographically distributed operations.
Thus relatively few individuals tend to be incorporated by this component of global human
resource management (Storey, 2007).
