We are a small, super hip company that encourages everyone to incorporate their personalities into their work. This is not your standard writing gig creating vanilla content. We love to research, plan, and develop awesome ideas before we start writing. This position is for someone who takes immense pride in their writing, writes by getting their hands dirty, and wants to build a reputation as a thought leader in the industry. The mission of our content team Research and write blog posts for the Virtually Made blog which meet or exceed quality standards. Accomplish this by working in a collaborative way our super cool team and by seeking out unique angles and data-driven insights into topics related to online marketing. What we need you to do -Write at least one extremely high-quality blog post per week -Exceed editorial quality standards -Improve our writing systems and processes -All with minimal spelling and grammar corrections -Respond to comments -Write copy for social media and email Does this sound like you? -A strong understanding of how to create exceptional content -An understanding of marketing concepts -Attention to detail -Native English speaker with impeccable written English -Data-driven mentality -Strong research skills -A sense of ownership and responsibility -Ability to work across virtual teams -The ability to continually improve quality and systems -Ready to start immediately - we have work waiting for you This is a long-term role and you will be paid per approved word. While we reserve the right to refuse work of exceptionally low quality, we never plan on invoking such right. In the unlikely event that you fail to meet our standards, we will likely eloquently pay for completed work and move on to writers who are a better fit. Our pay will be no lower than $0.10/word and vary depending on the complexity of the project. We will pay you via your preferred payment gateway (at no additional cost to us) for approved work.
