NMS Application Software ( Wireshark)

Objective To become familiar with the fundamentals of traffic and protocol analyzer tools, and to gain practical experience using the any NMS application software by collecting and analyzing data for both Muscat College campus network and private network. Background NMS application software is a well-known monitoring tool which shows the current network usage. It displays a list of hosts that are currently using the network and reports information concerning the IP traffic generated by each host. The traffic is sorted according to host and protocol. Procedure Network Management Software Students are required to download, install and configure any related Network Management System software and demonstrate its utilities and features to the class. The NMS software should cover the five area of Network Management: FCAPS. 1. Write a report (minimum 10 pages) based on the NMS software that selected. 2. This lab task is a group project of maximum 3 students please upload the picure from the software that you will make and write a short discrubtion about each step as shown in the uploaded files. Such as how did you made the instalment and what is the use of each function.
