Azure BI Developer

• Development of Business Intelligence reports and reporting queries • Maintenance and improvement of existing reports and queries • Ensuring that data quality issues are identified, analyzed, and addressed • Interaction with the business and project teams to analyse and design solutions based on the Microsoft SQL based DWs • Rotational coverage of the daily import processing, timely resolution of any issues and communication to the business upon failures • Supporting/ creating initiatives to drive improvements, including analysis, reporting, infrastructure and presentation areas • Ensuring timely delivery of business intelligence tools, for example Cognos reports, to the user base • Ensuring a ‘fit for purpose’ (for example: robust , responsive, easily upgraded) Business Intelligence infrastructure is maintained • Supporting others in the EDW team with their development and any technical/ business assistance • Provide a point of technical excellence for the business • The responsibilities also includes helping the business improving, investigating/proposing best practice solutions, comply with the system support structure and maintenance model, and maintain proper system and user documentation • Input into strategy and standards around the Business Intelligence portfolio • Documenting systems to high standards in English • Experience in MS Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Databricks, and Analytic Services; which is the focus of a new Data Warehouse implementation project • Design and implement Data Warehouse data modelling with old and new techniques TSQL, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) , SSIS, Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) , PolyBase , Hadoop, Cloud PaaS. Azure Cloud MSSQL, On prem MSSQL • BI & Analytic Tools (Cognos, PowerBI, SSAS) • Web base programming skill HTML, client scripting (Java script), Server scripting (.Net C#) basic level. • Experience of data analysis • Experience of BI infrastructure management • Experience of KPI reporting, metrics and dashboards  • Understanding of data quality and continuous quality improvement • Understanding of sales, manufacturing, logistics, and finance processes • 3+ years of relevant work experience • Graduate (or equivalent), preferably computer science or technical business administration
