Azure SQL data import

Hello, I could create a new Azure Function apps which will do the import task, either using HTTP Trigger or Timer Trigger as well. I need to know if the VM is Linux Based or Windows based? And the VM is using local IP Address or Public Address? If the VM is Windows Based I could write the solution in C#. Otherwise I will use PHP. I have my own Azure Free Trial Account, so I could use it for the development purpose. Let me know your feedback. Best Regards, Khamid
