Hello,
I am a tech enthusiast and have been building and modifying PCs since I was 12. I currently own a heavily modified Alienware 17R4 and still fiddle that and my friends PCs everyday so I precisely understand what you require.
As I understand, in summary, you current have a Lenovo ThinkPad P71 and a HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx.
You want to clone the Intel 535 Series SSD currently in your Lenovo to a new high-end M.2 NVMe SSD and use that in your Lenovo workstation laptop and then move the Intel SSD to HP laptop while keeping the Windows installation.
So basically you want to end up having identical windows setup for both laptops.
If the above is true, please note that migrating an existing Windows installation to a new hardware is very complex and not always guaranteed. While I have done this many times in the past, I still do not recommend this and a clean installation is generally the way to go for best reliability.
If you still want to proceed, I can definitely help you with this as I have plenty of experience in what you require.
Please let me know if you want to proceed with this or discuss other alternates.
P.S. I am new freelancer on this site and am only interested in making my name for now. Thus, I am extremely high value for money. ;)
Best regards,
Umer
