I have long experience with 8-bit and 32-bit micro-controllers. I work with PIC , AVR , ST and NXP micro-controllers. I use KEIL IDE , Atmel Studio and MPLABX IDE . Regarding your project , I would use Atmel Studio (much stronger IDE than Arduino IDE). I'm a postgraduate aerospace engineer. I'm experienced in control systems and orbital determination. I did a project which was quite similar with this project for a satellite attitude determination, using sun sensor and gyroscope.

Hi I can create your project using the photo resistors sensors only but if you want to use the two it is okay . so about the movement you want it in one axial or two . and there is many ways to get that there is wind or not may the motion sensor be not accurate for that . I have experiences with the servo motors . so I will provide you the circuit design and the code plus free support after delivering the code

Hello, The idea is very amusing. 1. If light sensor is used from Adafruit, why do you need the photoresistor sensor? 2. Up to the best of my knowledge, PIR sensor is used to detect physical motion not the wind. If wind is needed to be detected, a wind turbine like is needed to be used so PIR could detect the presence of wind. If interested, I would appreciate if we can chat. Thanks.

I have actual job experience in using the ADC of the Arduino processor(ATMEGA328P orMEGA2560) to read the intensity of the light sensor and also controlling servos using the digital pins.
