Help to compile & run OLD desktop application written in C++

Dear Community,
My Team and I have a program (desktop application) written in C++ from 10 or more years ago that we cannot compile and run. We are looking for help in this matter as we want to make it work again, re-adapt to our modern times it and start selling it again.
The program used to work perfectly but we don't seem to find the way to make in run again.
We already tried to compile the code using an old C++ compiler but had no luck. Also tried to create a new project instance in Visual Studio 2015 and copy the files but the VS did not managed well the dependencies.
We need an expert in C++ to guide us to run the program successfully and build a newer and better user interface in order to run the software over the internet as a web platform.
We have a zip with all the information of how the software and business run, plus obviously the code documentation. This will be shared with the winning freelancer (NDA required as we will give you all the coding)
