Hi. If you are willing to accept a solution in the C language I would be happy to investigate the problem. If you provide more details this would help me to evaluate if a software approach is suitable for your application - or whether you genuinely need an FPGA / hardware solution. Most of the code I write for embedded systems (PIC, AVR, STM32 microcontrollers) use finite state machines of some sort. I can provide source code samples if you need them. I have no rating as this is my 1st time to use freelancer. Apart from that I am a Digital Design Engineer with front-end and back-end knowledge. Knowledge of VHDL,Verilog for design and SystemVerilog for verification. Used Xilinix for FPGA. Used DC , ICC (Synopsys tools) for ASIC Design.
