Front-End Development (JS, HTML5, Single Page App, Node.JS)

We require an experienced front-end JavaScript developer with significant experience. We are building a complex system and need a developer to do the following: - Design Widgets - Define the JSON the widgets consume - Use JS AJAX to call back-end API - Wire the widgets, javascript and API calls together to produce a working page - Provide input of front-end libraries (not frameworks like Angular) but validation, error handling and so on - Take the existing UI and complete it, wire up the libraries, connect to the backend - Have good UI/UX ideas - Work under pressure - Make daily commits to Git Note: You will be required to submit examples of your client-side JavaScript from a real-world project, Single-Page App or similar. Optional but recommended: Please read all of this *before* bidding. We have a large and highly scalable NodeJS backend, and *require* you to assist with the coding of the GUI server that uses a Node.JS template engine to produce the front-end application. General skill-set: - Have good or excellent English - Several years of real software development - Minimal management overhead - Scrum/Agile capable - Work on own initiative (no robots) - Strong developer able to work with minimal intervention to high standards. We want to hire you to work full time for us for an initial 3 months and once live, we'd be looking to retain our team and keep you on.
