Overview: Backend theme development METRC integration Tensor flow integration Backend theme development: We really like the theme "extensia"(available in odoo app store) and the direction it's going but we do not want to wait for the author to finish the project. The author linked his GitHub which can be found here [login to view URL] In the 11.0 branch readme, he defines a few features he is looking to integrate. Notifications, Apex charts, set up wizard, whole 9 yards. We want to implement those features along with mobile optimization on top of extensia. We feel odoo looks like...well an application from the 90's. These improvements would be a huge eye grabber for future customers. METRC: METRC is the middle man between the government and cannabis businesses. Little context, the government contracts out a software company to create a database to track all cannabis products. Literally every. Single. Gram. Of cannabis is tracked up until a private citizen purchases it from a licensed retailer. We need to integrate several get, put and post API commands. The 2 most prominent commands is when a user initially registers and when a sale is made. When a user signs on, part of the set up wizard is to connect their METRC account. This should then get all current product data they have. Here is a link to metrc's documentation [login to view URL] For the POS suite, we will be working with metrc's "items" section. Please ignore rooms or harvest or any others as those are not for retailers. The next step is to post(or put?) transaction data. I'm thinking this should happen after the POS is closed and the manager clicks "validate" since it gives a chance for store managers to go through sales before telling the government. However, please note we may need to change it to a transaction bases and post after each transaction. I am talking with metrc's now about the best way to do this. Finally, we want to do the METRC integration as modular or flexible as possible. We have future plans of other suites which will require METRC integration as well. Tensor flow: If possible, we would love to integrate tensor flow into our system since it would benefit our customers and would be a huge selling point. I found several open source projects about fraud prevention, product recommendations and product pricing. If this is possible for your team to do, we would love to do so. I found a project specifically made on odoo that linked to tensor flow for image recognition. This leads me to believe we can call out to tensor flow when needed and we just need to figure out the best way to implement it. We are hoping to add fraud prevention, product recommendations and product pricing through tensor flow. What I need from you is a quotation and an estimated time frame on project completion. Before you even ask, I am available anyday and time for a phone call if more technical details are required. Just tell me a time you and your team are available and it should be fine with me. Lastly, I had one question. Is your development team American or outsourced? We do not care either way. We actually are leaning towards Indian's for development as they have the proper skillset and salaries are dramatically cheaper.
