I am looking for an independent contract worker who provides administrative, creative or technical services. That means handling the same types of tasks as an office secretary or manager, but doing them from a home office, using your own computer equipment, software, phone and Internet connection. Here are some of the general tasks that an office assistant may do in a virtual office: > Manage contact lists and customer spreadsheets > Maintain a calendar and set up meetings > Take transcription and handle correspondence > Make travel arrangements > Handle billing and accounting > Prepare and send out e-mail newsletters > Prepare, collate and ship proposals and meeting materials > Send out requested information to customers > Handle client inquiries by phone or e-mail

Hi! I would like to apply for the Executive Assistant position. Currently, I am a freelance virtual assistant where I have done a variety of tasks for executive clients such as email management, calendar scheduling, travel planning, purchasing and some customer support via email. I also do basic social media management and HR tasks such as recruitment and employee engagement. Errr, enumerate my qualifications. 1. Bachelors degree in Education major in English and Literature 2. Six years of solid experience as an executive secretary. My boss literally leaves management to me while he travels the world with his… (Oh, I have signed an NDA so my lips are sealed.) 3. Planning of biennial international conferences for just a little over a hundred participants which includes scouting for a venue, RSVPs, room assignments, food selection (Did you know that there are real people that have avocado allergy?), airport transport, and other tasks that if included here would amount to 500 words. 4. I take my job seriously but with a light heart because if I stress out, I’ll just be killing myself. 5. I learn quickly. My college degree is Education let alone English but I worked in a business where everyone else is a CPA. I had to learn accounting jargons and do balance sheets and billings when I couldn’t even mentally multiply two-digit numbers to save my life. Thank heavens for Excel!
