I am working on a technical PoC to create the "data puddle" that might be the origin of a datalake. The MVP would include the following features, all executed using Azure REST APIs
- Programmatic upload of documents from a specified directory (eg. c:/test) to an Azure storage account
- Text extraction and parsing of documents (.docx, .pptx) into shards of files by page and sentence
- Enrichment of document search metadata (.json) using simple logic (if contains "dog" then tag pets = "dogs")
- Basic search of key phrases or classification tags to identify portions of a document that meet a specified criteria using Azure Search
