Professional Line Editor / Developmental Editor / Copyeditor Needed

I need to hire a developmental copyeditor/line editor to assist with the first edits of my book. I have edited the book twice and I am now ready for a professional editor. The book is approximately 4,000 words long. It is in the comedy/fiction genre. It will be a small format (A7 – A6 size), hardcover book. The main target market is young males 15 – 25, as well as tourists aged 18 – 35. The type of humor is adult, potentially offensive and immature. It is intended as a joke purchase. It will retail for $10 - $12 AUD. It will be available online as well as in retail outlets. The book is uniquely Australia, with several references to Australian culture and slang. As a result, it is strongly preferred that the editor is Australian, or has at least lived in Australia for a significant period. I understand developmental line editing is more in-depth and would typically include; - Complete sentence rewrites - Reorganisation of text - Removal and addition of content Once the line editing has been completed and reviewed. I will then require copy editing and a final proof-read. These will be treated as individual projects with separate compensation. My budget is anywhere from $250 - $750 AUD for complete line editing/developmental editing. I need the editor to work alongside me to understand what I am trying to achieve and the tone of voice. Once a final three candidates are selected, I would need to have a 10-15min phone call to discuss the book and obtain a signed non-disclosure statement. From there I will send a 500-word sample to be edited. I will then review the submissions and choose the best option.
