Hi, I'm an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience in Arduino related programming. I'm applying for the project as I have use Atmega2560 based Arduino mega2560 for most of my projects and I have good understanding of it's internal registers , timers and interrupts. Also I have use ESP8266 for my project as a standalone arduino as well as a module to Arduino using a custom firmware on ESP8266. I believe for this project you will be using it as a seperate module for Atmega. I'm not sure of the 7 inch touch screen you are using, but I have previous experience of the HMI displays.
