Hello, My name Russ, I go by Rusty Mack. I am a veteran producer in NYC, and I use synthesis every day. I am intimately familiar with virtual instruments , sample mapping, generators, oscillators, filters, and the like. I know the difference between granular, and FM, synthesis, and I can tweak knobs until the magic happens. I constantly am saving my own presets, and organizing banks, and folders, and am basically obsessed with creating original sounds, and cataloging them for future use. I always thought to myself “I should get paid for this!” Since I really enjoy it, and I would say I have the ear for it. I like my basses deep and smooth, or stabby and percussive. I like spacey reverb drenched pads, and bendy leads. I love a good arpeggio, and and good sequenced synth patch as well. These are the things that really get me going!
