We are developing some devices to measure physical activity using strain gauges. Part of the process will be to measure an analogue voltage / current (for about 15 s) from a bridge circuit, sample at ~1000 Hz 16 bit, then transmit via bluetooth to a smart device (iPhone etc). Transmission doesn't have to be real-time, it could be buffered and then sent as a package. The electronics will need to be battery powered. In the first instance we will need a working prototype which would lead to a product that required no operator input and turns itself off after a fixed time. Sorry no images at present. In the longer term the electronic device would need to have a unique id number such that several of these devices could be used at the same or similar times but logged against their id .

Hello I did many project using strain gauge, I would prefer to connect the Arduino to PC and make drawing there using Matlab utilities. Then after confirmation we can develop the app to present and figure the data. Please let’s make small chat to select the right strain gauge also to know for which application this will be used.
