Automatic Number Plate Recognition System

A system shall be designed to recognize the license plate at the front end and rear end of the vehicle. The input to the system is the image of the vehicle acquired by a digital camera. And the output of the system is the localized and recognized text of the extracted license plate. The system shall be designed and simulated by using MATLAB by using Sobel method or Canny method or Horizontal & Vertical edge processing with english letter and number Character recognition shall be done. Expect output from MATLAB code: 1. the boundary image only plate. 2 the text show the English number and letter. a journal paper format shall be include it i.Abstract. ii. Introduction. This should include research review and your research plan. iii. Results. This should include the algorithm you used, computer programs, illustrations, tables, etc. iv. Conclusion. v. List of references i need a presentation as well.
