I have experience with the Hierarchical Temporal Memory algorithms, whose main strength is on predicting streaming data. That is, data that is taken regularly and has a time component, just like in your problem. The algorithm also features online learning, so you can keep training it with new data as it arrives. I also have experience with evolutionary computation, which can be used to tune the algorithms. I'll be honest with you with two things, though: First. I can't assure you the algorithms will run smoothly on your processor with such a large daily load. It'll probably be fine, nut we won't know for sure until we try it. The second thing is that, although I'm studying and playing with other algorithms in my free time, I'm not yet a Machine Learning expert and have only worked seriously with the two previously mentioned methods (HTM and Evolutionary Computation). The project also interest me in a personal way, because I'm curious about solar energy. I hope we can talk and get to an agreement, and I with you the best on finding the most appropiate freelancer for the job :)
