Hi I am Millie! I am a native English speaker and female. I was born and raised in the centre of England. I do not have a stereotypical British accent, like in the movies but it’s clear and easily understood. I am a full time primary school teacher of 6 years, so I am used to teaching children from 5-12 years old. I am a trained phonics teacher, experienced in teaching letter sounds, phonemes, graphemes and homophones. I have experience in teaching children not from England English, through the phonics programme- learning letter sounds and progressing up to words and then sentences. Whilst teenagers are not my specialism- my teaching skills are transferable to any age. If you were to choose me, I would be willing to provide audio and video teaching of English which your students could watch, practice and report back to me. Due to time zone differences, this may the most valuable option. As I am a full time class teacher my working hours are 7pm uk time onwards- however if we were to learn together via prerecorded videos this would not be a hindrance. Please note I cannot speak Chinese or any other language.
