ESL CURRICULUM DEVELOPER NEEDED FOR GRAMMAR/VOCAB EXERCISE CREATION I have created a listen and repeat audio course for Brazilian Portuguese speakers that want to learn English. The audio has already been completed and now I am recording video lessons for all of the main grammar and points. At the end of each grammar video I will say something like "if you would like to have some more practice with the Present Perfect (for example) please refer to exercise 4.1 in the additional grammar exercise booklet". That's where YOU come in! :) I'm looking for an ESL Curriculum Developer with (if possible, but not essential) knowledge of Portuguese to write grammar and vocabulary exercises for an English course I have created for Portuguese speakers. The grammar exercises will be presented to students as additional worksheets that will accompany video lessons created for the course and will cover a range of topics from basic grammar such as the Present Simple to more complex grammar (please see the end of this job description for a full list of all grammar topics to be covered) Just to clarify, I want around one page of exercises for each of the fifty video lessons. You can see what exactly the topics are at the top of a document which is either attached to this project or I can send you. Please keep in mind that I only require written exercises - all the other stuff, like video lessons and listen-and-repeat exercise will be taken care of by myself. I just need one page of grammar exercises (perhaps you can put three different exercises per page) for each grammar topic. (Maybe more for more complex grammar like Present Perfect, less for easy grammar, like Imperatives) The Curriculum Developer will incorporate the following points into this project: -VERY IMPORTANT All exercises must be based exclusively on the vocabulary in the course (about 250 high frequency words, I will send you a document with the words that you can use for the exercises). -At least an A4 page of exercises for each video lesson, more for the more technical (and longer) video lessons. -Each topic will need a mix of different exercises including: sentence jumbles which students will need to put into the correct order, english to portuguese vocabulary matching exercises (again, don't worry about the Portuguese if you don't speak it), letter jumble exercises, reading comprehension exercises, paragraphs using only the vocab I set out for me to read aloud and record for listening exercises, and other exercises depending on the kind of topic. Can you think of any other exercises? -Proof read the explanations and exercises I have written out for mistakes of any kind in the document titled "Video Lesson Script". -Create (and perhaps brainstorm with me) a range of engaging grammar and vocabulary (sentence jumbles, single word translation exercise) exercises for each video lesson using the only the grammar and vocabulary I have used in my course. -Again, using the vocabulary and grammar in my course, create listening exercises (scripts to be read aloud and recorded by me, gap fills, and other ideas you have). -Translations exercise (both from English to Portuguese and vice versa, so if you know Portuguese, great, if not, I can handle the translation.) arranged around practical topics, such as going to the restaurant, expressing opinions, small talk. -Reading comprehension exercises. - include answer key either a the end of all the exercises, or at the end of each exercise.
