Learning ESL's mission is to provide a unique opportunity to learn with native English speakers in an online environment without losing the in-depth attention and participation of learning in a live classroom setting. By providing many customized class schedules as well as teachers from both the United States of America and the United Kingdom, Learning ESL can provide students of all ages with a consistent instructor that will get to know their students and their individual learning needs. The English learning experience is customized for each student and will aim to fulfill their individual goals. Each teacher is a native English speaker, and a certified teacher in their country, as well as TOEFL certified. Our teachers will provide the best quality online education. All teachers create their own unique curriculum based on Common Core State Standards (CCSS) of the United States, and the European Common Language Reference Standard (CEFR) - our curriculum is not pre-generated! We offer classes for adults and for children! Learn from anywhere without losing the real classroom experience! Our exciting new company is looking for ESL teachers who want to teach online. We offer our teachers up to $40 an hour depending on experience, and allow teachers to teach in a flexible and creative environment from home. Our company is based in the US, but caters to the Chinese market. Knowledge of Chinese is not required, but candidates that have this skill will be given extra consideration. Job Requirements: We are looking for United Kingdom based native English speaking candidates with a neutral accent who are TOEFL/TEFL certified or have teaching licences, experience teaching English in a University setting, or who are published and can prove a level of top notch English mastery. *Native English speaker *Previous ESL experience *Availability in specific Chinese peak hours (7AM-9AM EST or 8PM-10PM EST or for some classes 6PM-10AM EST) *Must be able to write new and exciting curriculum that is appropriate and consistent with TOEFL and/or other testing standards - curriculum is NOT provided by the company. *Must commit to 4 weeks of classes as each student signs up for a 4 week continuing class with a teacher, so that students and teachers can build on ideas and relationships. *Provide testimonials of your successful teaching track record. *Be willing to teach one 25 min trial course to students before the 4 week block begins. Or one 25 min trial before a 12 class block of private lessons. More on payment and scheduling: *Payment of up to $40 an hour is made only after the 4 weeks are successfully completed. Absences are not tolerated. Class offerings for students range from 2-5 days a week depending on availability, and teachers will build curriculum according to class frequency. Please be aware of this commitment and specify how many hours or days you are willing to teach. Weekends are popular times for Chinese students, and most schedules will require weekend hours. *We cannot guarantee a full time schedule or classes every 4 weeks to teachers, but as demand increases, qualified teachers will be offered more opportunities More about the company: For launch, we are providing classes for children and adults, so we are looking for teachers willing to build appropriate curriculum for adult classes and children's classes.
