This is a very interesting macro request. I just finished a preliminary tool to fulfill the cell restriction rule. Here are some features from my tool: 1. firstly I choose a specific area to restrict the cells, e.g, A1:M10 in sheets(1); 2. Supposed the maxmium of characters of each line is 3, if a string which has more than 3 characters of one line is filled in the area aforementioned, then the string will be deleted and a pop up box will appear alerting the mistake. (The row limit is similar to this rule) 3. The restrict area and maxmium characters/rows can be customized. I am looking forward to cooperate with you. Thank you.
