Hi there, Your project looks interesting and given my background I think I'd be a great fit. I also worked in HR, specifically payroll for TD bank for many years and have created many different pivot table solutions for payroll specific issues and processes throughout my career. I believe you're correct about the pivot table being the solution - the monthly changes would be a bit more complex but I am sure I could build out a model that would work for you. I envision a tool where you paste in the monthly data in a data tab, and then a summary tab would exist which would aggregate all of the 40 labor types and show the hourly labor rates for each type. This would be button activated I believe. I now operate my own Excel based home business 100% full time using the skills I've obtained throughout my corporate career. Hello, This seems an easy project if all you need is one excel file and to flip do a few calculations. A pivot in Excel would be easy, or I could do a quick visualization on Tableau as well on the data. Do you have the data one file, or do you have it in multiple? I work as supply chain manager in multinational company. Daily use various databases of more than 50.000 rows, filtered and sorted data according to different criteria and made a financial and non-financial reports using Pivot tables, formulas, logical and textual functions in Excel
