Excel Logic Database

Our Company Kustom Truck is looking at building a smartphone application with integrated excel data. A brief background, we are in the Glider Kit Truck business, Class 8 Heavy Duty Trucks. Basically the trucks come from the factory as what’s referred to as a rolling glider kit, the balance of the truck is up to the customer to assemble. That’s where our company steps in, we supply the glider kit building marketplace. Currently support about 100-125 Glider Kit Truck Builds a month. The most common question we are asked on a daily basis is regarding cost. What we would like to do is build an app that is menu driven based on the selection the customer chooses on each screen. Think of like a Jegs or Summit Racing if you want parts for your car, you start with the make, based on the selection the customer will next see available models for the selected make, next would ask for the engine but only list choices for that make/model of vehicle, this continues until the customer has entered all the information. Ultimately when he is done building his truck he will see a summary of his build that he can then email to the company or enter into the webstore for purchase. The App building software we are using is AppMachine, the software has the ability to import excel data. We are experts at what it takes to assemble a Glider Kit, we are not experts in excel formulas and setting it up so we can get the desired results. I have no problem supplying raw data, there are only 2 makes (Peterbilt and Kenworth) of trucks and 5 models currently offered in a Glider Kit Truck configuration so not overly extensive.
