Excel VBA automated looped macro

I would like to have a macro loop written in VBA that does two things...
1) Updates filters on 8 different sheets every hour
2) Saves the workbook file every night at midnight with the file name [login to view URL] and then clears the data to start over again.
I already have this workbook set-up and working properly, it gathers data from an arduino board and utilizes PLX-DAQ to populate the data into my workbook every 10-15 seconds... but I am stuck trying to get this functionality working within my project. For a person that's experienced in VBA, this shouldn't be a hard task... Also, it doesn't need to be a macro, if you know of a better way to accomplish what I'm trying to accomplish, then I'll go with that... I'll provide more details when I find the right freelancer for the job...
