Question bank in Excel+VBA for exam preparation -- Detailed

i want an exam paper preparation app from excel vba app, questions should be made from a word file or pdf file which stores 1000 questions. Each of these stored questions has such details as topic and marks allotted. I would like Excel +VBA system to use the above question bank, and help me make exams. Question bank should store such details as topic name, question,marks allotted, and the app should help me choose topic and questions while showing progressive total of marks. The final question paper needs to be in word format. i can enter the questions myself to a pdf or word file and make a question bank in consulation with the programmer who will suggest the format. please provide the software in excel/Vba
