After all the problems there are with freelancers (believe us, there are serious cowboys around and the amount of money we have wasted), we are looking to hire a graphic designer as an extension to our design team.
Skills required:
1. PSD Website Template Designs
2. Conversion to HTML (not essential)
3. Print Materials Design (Brochure, Flyers, Business Cards, Letterheads, Compliment Slips, Posters, Ads etc)
4. Banners (Static, Animated, Flash)
We require you to work for us as a minimum of 6 hours a day (Monday – Friday throughout GMT business hours) OCCASSIONAL WEEKEND WORK WILL BE REQUIRED.
When you are allocated a project/piece of work, you should respond immediately, indicating when you will start and how long it will take you. YOU WILL BE GIVEN STRICT DEADLINES AND YOU WILL HAVE TO ADHERE TO THEM
You will enter into a contract.
Please bid:
1. If you are genuine designer – EXCELLENT IN ADOBE CS2
2. Well versed in English – No discrimination here, but you will be speaking with us on email and over the phone regularly.
3. Do have vision for design (i.e. we give you a concept and you research it and provide good design). WE DON’T WANT SOMEONE WHO WE CAN GIVE INSTRCUTIONS TO AND THEY THEN FOLLOW THEM WITHOUT THINKING, WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS THE INTELLIGENCE TO THINK ABOUT GOOD DESIGN.
This is a great opportunity AS THERE IS A MIN OF 6 MONTHS WORK. When bidding, you will be required to submit a portfolio (either in MS Word/PowerPoint). It should cover all of the above SKILLS
We will not review bids where the PMB is just a cut and paste marketing spiel.
PLEASE NOTE THAT MONTH 1 IS A TRIAL (we'll be patient, listen and offer help). IF WE FEEL THAT YOU ARE NOT PROGRESSING, WE WILL GIVE YOU GIVE YOU 5 DAYS NOTICE. PAYMENT WILL BE CALCULATED IN ACCORDANCE TO CONTRACTUAL TERMS.
NO OUTSOURCERS ETC - WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DESIGNER (OR 2).
BIDS SHOULD BE BASED ON A PER MONTH VALUE. ON THE TRIAL PERIOD OF MONTH 1 A REDUCED RATE WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH YOU.
PAYMENT WILL BE VIA GAF AND PAID EVERY MONTH IN ARREARS ACCRODING TO CONTRACTUAL TERMS.
