Adobe Flex Component Developmnet

We are seeking a highly skilled Flex developer to assist us with prototyping of a new Maps Component /API. This project is purely intended to assess your skills and ability to take an abstract concept and contribute your creativity and skill to solve a few specific problems for which we will set one week. The goal is to harness roughly a week of your engineering time which has been set asside as a very conservative estimate by our Sr Flex Architect. In this week we will provide you with a working Flex project where we will give you a couple of problems to solve related to the creation of a new Flex Maps API. We will provide a project file that you will need to evaluate and reverse engineer. Then we will give you a couple of problems to engineer against this working project along with a spec. We will evaluate your creativity and engineering skills to create the task. The candidate whom we are satisfied with, we will look to grant a larger, long term project. Through this we hope to build a longer term working relationship more regular contract work using your adobe flex (Actionscript) skills. We desire having a Sr. resource who can take on a role to assist us with an upcoming project for one of our solutions. We will not accept bids from independent software vendors. We prefer an individual free lance engineer who has a few years of independent contracting and at least 3 years of Action Script development who is still actively working on Flex projects. We have done a lot of outsourcing so we are comfortable and confident that if you budget and bid for 1 week of development you will have more than enough time to finish and get good feedback from us. We may award this project to multiple developers if we find candidates that we like. Happy bidding!
