General Responsibility: The purpose of this position is to keep abreast of changes affecting both the supply of, and demand for, needed materials. Significant Duties: Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing, exchange, credit, and return of defective material. Track market conditions, price trends, and future markets. Handle complex or critical purchases and dipatch purchased products to the warehouse . Handle finish material purchases. Evaluate current and potential suppliers ability to meet our demands. Ensure that material quality standards are maintained. Coordinate and manage the efforts of Purchasing Agents. Produce inventory/purchasing reports and oversee annual inventory checks in all locations. Process rebates, including negotiation Finalize and organize bid quotes when bid becomes a job confirm pricing, availability and terms. Manage throughout duration of job. Other duties or projects as required or assigned. Requirements: Work Experience: 2 + years in the field of purchasing, Education: College level courses related to purchasing functions or degree preferred (but not required). Allowance : Travel Allowance Salary : 10000 - 20000/-
