I have never written a book or novel. I have edited for novelists who have had no business writing their own name. I have achieved Preferred Freelancer status the old-fashioned way, honest hard work. With all due respect, a lot of writers have no clue as to how well or poorly they have written whatever they have written. I have an eye for spotting issues similar to those you list in the project description. How about I sample edit/proof a chapter, no charge? I do that for all my authors. What's your word count and deadline? How many chapters? I have had authors thank me for improvements, both incorporated and suggested, and have mentioned their thanks in reviews in my profile, into which you are welcome to look. There are people who make good livings reviewing movies they are patently unqualified to produce or direct. That's not their job.
