Design a Logo

Hi - We are group of business woman launching a new blog and facebook page to discuss the issues woman face in the modern business world. We are starting with a nice blog, and hoping to later expand to create a networking group. We will discuss issues such as leadership, mentoring, advancement of woman at work, legal issues and lawsuits regarding discrimination etc. We work in the industrial, technology and pharmaceutical industries, but welcome woman from all sectors. We are seeking a logo and colour scheme for our blog. The name of our blog is April Now APRIL is in fact the first initial of each of our names (Angela, Patty, Rachel, Iris, and Lynn). Now, signifies that we want change, action and discussion now, and not later. We are seeing progress at work, but it is slow. We want a logo reflecting the following: - The name of our blog - It should be feminine - but strong - It should be delivered in a format we can use if we put it in word documents and for upload onto our blog. - Nice colours and nice design. We envision the following process: - You create a few (four or more) rough draft logo designs with the words APRIL NOW - You Arrange the words, font as you think is best...propose a few designs to us and take a shot at picking good colours given the theme of the blog - We will review the draft designs, select one, then refine it with a bit of feed back - We will select final colours and let you know - You deliver the final versions to us in a good format for use in word documents, blogs and facebook We will pay $30 Canadian for a successful and complete design. We believe you should be able to do this with a few hours of work. We wont drag this out. April
