I literally just ran into something like that last Friday on my other job. FB pixels are super annoying. I'll be glad to debug that with you like we did it in there :) One thing that definitely helps is being "creative" with the placement of your standard event call. Our forms are reliant on angular, so I just had it access the FB function on the ajax that sends the data to the backend. That's one idea, but, again, I can look into it for you to see if that is the case.
