Develop and deploy a web application for which some initial functionalities are listed below:
(1) User access control
a. All visitors shall register for the first time and create a personalized login
b. All users shall enter and maintain some minimum data requirements
c. User access and password can be done via user email and/or phone
d. Captcha type security access to avoid machine driven hacking
e. Users shall have the option to choose
f. Users shall be granted and categorized as “visitor”, “potential customer”, “paid customer”
g. Visitors can see general information and results but cannot create or run cases
h. potential customer can create and run up to 10 cases (i.e. limited)
i. Paid customer can create and run a larger number of cases (i.e. 10,000)
(2) Case management
a. Valid user can create new cases or modify existing cases
b. Valid user inputs some minimum data required to build a case
c. Valid user can save an incomplete case for future retrieval
d. Valid user can save up to three incomplete cases, which shall be deleted within 10 days.
e. Valid user can submit cases (with complete and valid data) for Application Calculations
f. Valid user can submit and store up to 10 valid cases
g. Valid user can access results from current and previously calculated cases
h. Valid user can compare results from current and previously calculated cases
i. Administrator can access, edit, download, delete all cases at any stage
(3) Application Calculations
a. Application shall perform a series of calculations from input data and specific cases
b. All Calculated results are stored in database
c. Good quality results are made available for user access and retrieval
d. Bad calculations are store for administration and debugging
(4) UI/UX
a. Application shall enable simple user input interfaces
b. Application shall generate some preconfigured charts based on user case selection
c. Application shall allow some basic graph configuration and printing capabilities
(5) Database management
a. Application shall store each user profile and preference information
b. Application shall gather and store some key data from the internet (i.e. stock prices)
c. Application shall store each case input and calculated results in database for future
d. Application shall allow import and export cases based on user accessability
Current website is hosted in [login to view URL] and the website was developed in WordPress, but I’m willing to consider a better place to host this application.
