Refresh an existing logo element to simplify its look

We have a logo for a private aviation company that exist since 15 years and the bird element in the logo needs to be modernized. we feel like the lines should be simpler and even the look of the bird should be renewed maybe. the bird is at sparrowhawk (not an eagle, not anything else) the existing element's wings were well done to represent the airplane reactor We will not change the general look of our logo so the new design of the bird element will be replaced in its current position. We need to keep the red keywords to define company: Passionate, Aviation (commercial, private, helicopters), Loyalty, Multiple generation company, Conservative (means serious for our clients but not in our communication), Expertise, Authenticity... let us know if you need more the reason for wanting a new bird element is that we will now need to apply it on many new places (like uniforms, plates, aircraft tail, offices, etc) and we feel like a simpler element will be more elegant.
